“One Promise to Nature” Environmental Campaign

On October 23, 2026, A.B. Turmatova, a lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Public Disciplines, organized the “One Promise to Nature” environmental campaign with second-year students of the Dentistry educational programme.
The event was held in Shymkent Central Park as part of the “Eco-Road: Together Towards a Clean Future!” theme and the nationwide “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental initiative.
The campaign aimed to foster environmental awareness among students, encourage respect for nature, promote a clean environment, and strengthen young people’s social responsibility.
During the event, the students actively participated in cleaning the park and shared their personal promises and initiatives to protect nature. They pledged to keep the environment clean, use natural resources responsibly, dispose of waste in designated areas, and follow environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives.
The “One Promise to Nature” campaign encouraged students to care for the environment and emphasized that protecting nature is the shared responsibility of every citizen. A clean future begins with the positive actions we take today!
