Open Educational Session Dedicated to Independence Day

Independence is not merely a commemorative date, but the moment when the centuries-old dream of our people became a reality. It is a sacred concept achieved through the blood of our ancestors and the tears of our mothers. Independence Day is a great national holiday that awakens a sense of pride and responsibility in the heart of every citizen of Kazakhstan.
In this regard, on December 16, 2025, an open educational session dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the “Pediatrics-1” Department of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event was organized and conducted by the department lecturer, Botakoz Serikkyzy Baltabayeva.

Students of the VM-MSHA 08-22 group took part in the educational session. A distinctive feature of this group is the large number of international students in its composition. The event was aimed at increasing international students’ interest in the history of Kazakhstan and explaining the significance of the national holiday. During the educational session, students were introduced to the stages of development of Independent Kazakhstan, key historical events, and national values. International students shared their thoughts and expressed respect for the culture of the Kazakh people and the country’s path to independence.
The future of a sovereign nation lies in the hands of educated and patriotic youth. Therefore, cherishing independence and preserving it as the apple of one’s eye is the sacred duty of every citizen.
May our independence be everlasting, may our blue flag always fly high, and may peace and prosperity reign in our country!
