
In accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “South Kazakhstan Medical Academy” has formed a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide practical assistance to medical organizations in connection with the potential increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI).
The team includes an infectious disease specialist, an obstetrician-gynecologist, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, a pulmonologist, as well as faculty members of clinical departments with extensive practical experience.
On December 10, 2025, the Academy’s multidisciplinary team conducted outreach activities at two medical organizations in the city of Shymkent. In particular, specialists (Abuova G.N., Kulbaeva S.N., Aldeshev A.A., Ashirov B.A., Pernebekov E.M.) visited the Shymkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital and provided consultative support to infectious disease physicians.
On the same day, at the Shymkent City Maternity Hospital (Abuova G.N., Tleuzhan R.T., Aldeshev A.A., Asanova G.K., Pernebekov E.M.), monitoring of the condition of pregnant women and postpartum patients was carried out. Recommendations were provided to improve the quality of medical care, and complex clinical cases were jointly reviewed with medical staff.
Today, the multidisciplinary team visited the Sairam District Central Hospital and the “Karabulak” Sairam District Hospital in the Turkestan Region, where practical and methodological assistance was provided to healthcare professionals.
Such outreach activities contribute to improving the quality of medical care and promoting professional experience exchange among medical organizations.
