Prize-winning achievements of SKMA students on the international stage

As part of the II International Conference «Innovative Medicines: From Molecule to Patient”, held at the A.P. Nelyubin Institute of Pharmacy of Sechenov University (Moscow, Russia), the performance of the Academy's students was a particular achievement.
Fifth-year students Shymkentybay A.A. and Nurgaliqyzy A., enrolled in the Pharmacy programme, who carried out their research work at the Pharmacy Research Centre under the guidance of Professor and Head of the Pharmacy Research Center Orynbasarova K.K., presented a poster report on the topic: ‘Phytochemical analysis of Herba Achillea biebersteinii and took second place among the conference participants.

Abdieva Saule, a third-year student majoring in Pharmacy at the Medical College of SKMA JSC, won first place in the international competition «Best Scientific Article 2025» organised by the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENTIFIC AND INNOVATIVE RESEARCH (NAcSIR). The article was written on the topic «Гепапротекторлы жинақтың құрамындағы өсімдіктерден биологиялық белсенді қосылыстарды бөліп алу және олардың химиялық құрылымын анықтау»
Based on the results of the competition, the head of the work, Professor K.K. Orynbasarova, was presented with a letter of appreciation for her scientific guidance and contribution to the development of the scientific potential of students.

This achievement highlights the high level of training of students, the quality of their research work, and the effective scientific support provided by the Pharmacy Research Center.
Scientific achievements, including the prizes won by students, contribute to strengthening the image of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy in the international scientific arena and stimulate further development of research activities in the field of pharmacy.
