Professors from the Medical University of Gdańsk to Visit South Kazakhstan Medical Academy within the Framework of International Strategic Partnership

From 6 to 9 October 2026, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy will host international experts — Prof. Tomasz Bączek and Dr. Mohammad Reza Saeb (Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland), specialists in scientific data, analytics and strategic planning.
The visit will focus on three main areas:
– Expert Review of Grant Applications and Project Proposals
Individual consultations with project applicants, expert discussion of applications, and recommendations for their further improvement for participation in grant competitions.
– Scientific Seminars and Development of Research Competencies
On 7 and 8 October, Dr. Mohammad Reza Saeb will conduct scientific seminars on Global Burden of Disease, Research Strategy, research project development, and scientific publications.
– Discussion of Strategic Development and Operational Plans of Laboratories
Discussion of the strategic goals and objectives of structural units, the strategic development and operational plan of the Research Center for Pharmacy, and the further development of the South Genetics and Clinical Laboratory.
Staff members, researchers and students of JSC “SKMA” are invited to participate in the scheduled scientific seminars and activities within the framework of the visit.
