
Today, at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the Psychological Service, the Youth Policy Department, and the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages organized a psychological seminar-training on the topic “Respect for Women – an Indicator of Society’s Development Level.” The seminar aimed to show students the impact of respecting women on societal development and its ethical standards, as well as to explain the importance of gender equality and legal culture. Students were introduced to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the protection of women’s rights, as well as the significance of laws against violence and discrimination.

The seminar was conducted by psychologists Aza Mirsadykova and Dinara Espenbetova from the Psychological Service. Using interactive methods, they encouraged students to actively participate, discuss the culture of respect for women, ethical principles, and psychological well-being. Students responded to interactive questions via mobile phones and shared their opinions. Additionally, real-life scenario exercises were provided, allowing students to discuss and analyze their responses to various situations. During the seminar, it was emphasized that respect for women is not only an individual matter but also contributes to strengthening equality and justice in society, as well as fostering legal and moral culture. Students understood that by showing respect for women, each person can contribute to the development of society.
