
At the initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a youth forum was held at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. The large-scale event was dedicated to discussing the significance and importance of the recent national referendum. The forum was attended by staff and students from medical universities across the country. Among the participants were A.T. Sataev, Head of the General Education Department of the Medical College at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, as well as a number of active students led by the rector of the institution, Askar Merey Elamankyzy. In his speech, Amangeldi Toiboluly presented a report on the positive impact of the constitutional amendments adopted through the referendum on the system of public administration, including the healthcare sector. In addition, for his active participation during the political campaign and contribution to the development of healthcare, A.T. Sataev was awarded the “Excellence in Healthcare” badge.

During the event, special attention was given to improving the legal awareness of youth, fostering active citizenship, and strengthening patriotic values. Active students who participated in the forum were presented with letters of appreciation on behalf of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akmaral Alnazarova. The congratulatory message emphasized that medical students are future qualified professionals whose knowledge, responsibility, and civic stance directly influence the development of the national healthcare system. It also highlighted that the state pays special attention to the development of education, science, and medicine, as well as to creating favorable conditions for the professional growth of young specialists.

The Rector of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Zhanna Seitjanova, received the forum participants and held a special meeting with A.T. Sataev and active students who achieved high results. During the meeting, the rector congratulated the award recipients and highly appreciated their social engagement and commitment to professional development. It was also noted that supporting student initiatives is one of the academy’s key priorities.
