JSC South Kazakhstan Medical Academy invites medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Republican Pediatric Olympiad, which will take place on May 22, 2026, in Shymkent.
The Olympiad will serve as an important educational platform for future pediatricians, where participants will demonstrate their theoretical knowledge, clinical reasoning, practical skills, teamwork, and creative potential.
The aim of the Olympiad is to increase students’ interest in pediatrics, enhance professional competencies, and promote scientific knowledge and innovative educational technologies in the field of child healthcare.
Teams from higher and postgraduate education institutions implementing the educational program “Pediatrics” are invited to participate. Each team must consist of 5 participants, including 4th–5th year students and/or interns.
Olympiad Stages
The Olympiad includes the following stages:
Stage I — Video Presentation Contest “We Are a Team”
Teams present their university, city, and members. Duration: up to 5 minutes. Format: mp4 or wmv.
Stage II — Testing
Stage III — Clinical Case Competition
Stage IV — Practical Skills and Visualization Competition
Stage V — Intellectual Quiz “Jeopardy-style Game”

Required documents:
1. Application form;
2. Consent for personal data processing;
3. Official letter signed by the Rector/Vice-Rector confirming the results of the internal selection.

Official invitations will be sent by May 15, 2026 after finalizing the list of participants.
For non-resident participants, the Organizing Committee will provide assistance, including meeting arrangements, support during their stay in Shymkent, and organizational guidance.
