Round Table Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Temirbek Kozhakeyev

On February 19, 2026, the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences organized and held a round table dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Темірбек Қожакеев, with the participation of first-year students of the “Pediatrics” educational program.
The purpose of the event was to promote the life and creative legacy of the scholar, to familiarize students with his contribution to the development of Kazakh journalism and satire, and to educate the younger generation through the example of his professional and public activities.
During the round table, students delivered presentations on the scholar’s life path, his academic works, publicistic heritage, and his role in the development of journalism as a science. The participants discussed the relevance of his scholarly legacy, the significance of satire as a genre in society, and current trends in the development of journalism.
