Round Table on the Topic: “Awaken the Mind: Life Is the Highest Value”

On April 21, 2026, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, M. Malikov, held a round table discussion among students under the motto “Awaken the Mind: Life Is the Highest Value.” The event was aimed at preventing self-destructive behavior (suicide), as well as strengthening family relationships and promoting moral, ethical, and spiritual values.
Purpose of the event: to prevent self-destructive behavior (suicide) among students, strengthen their psychological well-being, foster a deep understanding of the value of life, and develop the ability to make sound decisions in difficult situations. In addition, special attention was given to increasing young people’s sense of responsibility in family relationships, promoting moral and ethical values, and fostering a culture of mutual support.

During the event, an open discussion was organized with students, addressing current issues in modern society. Participants shared their views on ways to overcome life’s challenges, improve stress resilience, and build healthy relationships with loved ones.
At the end of the round table, students asked questions that concerned them and received useful advice. Such educational and socially significant events will continue in the future.
