
On April 27, 2026, the Departments of “History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines” and “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines” jointly organized a round table titled “The Constitution as a Guarantee of Stability” within the framework of the national action plan of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at promoting and popularizing the Constitution.

The purpose of the event was to explain to students the role of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan in society and to highlight its importance as the main guarantee of the country’s stability and development. Other key objectives included improving participants’ legal awareness, fostering respect for constitutional values, and discussing issues related to the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms.
During the round table, participants shared their views on the historical foundations of the Constitution, its role in the political and social development of the country, and its importance in ensuring citizens’ rights and freedoms. In addition, the fundamental principles of building a rule-of-law state and issues of ensuring the supremacy of law were widely discussed.
The event was attended by faculty members, students, department representatives, as well as representatives of the mass media, who covered the proceedings. Media representatives asked questions on the topic and engaged in discussions with the participants.

The participants emphasized that the Constitution is the main guarantee of stability and unity in society and highlighted the importance of developing a strong legal culture.
As a result of the round table, participants put forward a number of proposals and noted the need to continue organizing such meaningful events in the future.
At the end of the event, teachers and students who demonstrated active participation, delivered substantive presentations, and contributed to the organization were awarded certificates of appreciation.
