
On April 8, 2026, the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences held a roundtable discussion dedicated to Science Day within the framework of the theme “35 Years of Independence.” The topic of the event was “The Future of Science in Kazakhstan: Innovations and Technologies.”
Objective: To summarize the achievements of the Republic of Kazakhstan over the years of independence, engage in a scholarly discussion of historical development stages, assess socio-political changes in society, and foster a sense of patriotism among the younger generation.
First-year students of the Pharmaceutical Production Technology program participated in the roundtable. During the event, participants delivered reports on the country’s political, economic, and cultural development throughout the years of independence and shared their opinions. The students demonstrated active engagement, expressed their thoughts, and analyzed historical events.
Additionally, patriotic songs and national melodies related to the theme of independence were performed during the event.
At the conclusion of the roundtable, the students emphasized the importance of independence and highlighted that forming an educated and competitive generation is crucial for the country’s future. The roundtable was organized at a high level and successfully achieved its goals.
