
Senior Lecturer of the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines,” A.Ä. Myrzaziya, held a round table discussion with first-year students on the topic “Youth Education, Prevention of Offenses and Harassment.”
The main goal of the event was to improve students’ legal awareness, develop a culture of responsibility and compliance with public order, provide a comprehensive explanation of ways to prevent offenses, as well as to clarify the concept of “harassment,” its types, and consequences. Special attention was given to fostering a safe and respectful communication environment within the educational setting.

During the round table, the most common types of offenses among young people, their causes, and prevention mechanisms were discussed. Students actively shared their opinions, asked questions related to real-life situations, and participated in the discussion. Participants were given detailed explanations regarding legal responsibility, personal boundaries, and ethical standards in the academic environment.
At the end of the event, it was emphasized that such meetings should be held regularly in order to enhance students’ legal culture and prevent negative phenomena in society.
