South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Undergoes Specialized Accreditation by IAAR

From March 03 to March 05, 2026, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (Shymkent, Republic of Kazakhstan) is undergoing an independent national accreditation of educational programs organized by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR). Within the framework of the accreditation procedure, an external expert evaluation is being conducted for the doctoral educational program 8D10141 “Medicine”, as well as residency programs including: 7R01137 “Neurology (Adult, Pediatric)”, 7R01120 “Neurosurgery (Adult, Pediatric)”, 7R01124 “Oncology (Adult)”, 7R01125 “Traumatology and Orthopedics (Adult, Pediatric)”, 7R01128 “Otorhinolaryngology (Adult, Pediatric)”, 7R01130 “Pediatrics”, and 7R01131 “Neonatology”. The accreditation process aims to confirm compliance of educational programs with national and international standards of quality in medical education.
