South Kazakhstan Medical Academy will take part in the Kazakhstan–Azerbaijan Rectors’ Forum

As part of the development of international cooperation in higher education, the Rectors’ Forum of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held in Almaty from April 6 to 8, 2026. Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of higher education institutions of Azerbaijan will also be organized.
The key event will be the meeting of rectors on April 6, 2026, with the participation of ministers responsible for higher education in both countries.

The main objective of the event is to expand academic and scientific cooperation between universities, develop joint educational programs, and enhance academic mobility of students and academic staff.
South Kazakhstan Medical Academy actively develops cooperation with Azerbaijan Medical University. The exchange of academic staff and students at all levels is steadily expanding. In the period from 2023 to 2026, more than 100 students and 10 representatives of academic staff participated in academic mobility programs.
SKMA considers the upcoming Forum as an important platform for strengthening international partnerships and expanding cooperation with Azerbaijani universities in the fields of education, science, and academic mobility.
