Strengthening Academic Integrity Principles Discussed

On September 28, 2026, a meeting of the Methodological Council was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, where issues related to further strengthening the principles of academic integrity and preparations for joining the Academic Integrity League were discussed.

During the meeting, the Academy’s Compliance Officer, Nurgali Alikhanovich Pernebayev, presented the annual action plan for joining the Academic Integrity League to the heads of departments and explained its key objectives and implementation mechanisms.

The plan places particular emphasis on ensuring compliance with academic integrity principles in the educational process, fostering a culture of academic integrity among students and faculty members, conducting systematic awareness-raising activities on academic integrity requirements, and improving relevant internal procedures.

The heads of departments were encouraged to strengthen efforts at the departmental level to promote the principles of academic integrity, organize preventive measures, and implement activities aimed at ensuring compliance with academic integrity requirements among students and faculty members.

Moving forward, the activities outlined in the annual plan will be implemented in stages.
