The Department of Police of Shymkent organized a citywide campaign entitled “Shymkent — A Drug-Free City” among city residents. The campaign aimed to prevent drug-related crime, promote a healthy lifestyle, and encourage young people to stay away from harmful habits.
The main objectives of the citywide campaign were to identify and remove drug advertisements and illegal graffiti that negatively affect the appearance of the city, prevent drug-related offenses and drug addiction, and widely promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
The fight against drugs is a shared responsibility of the entire society. Group advisors from the Department of Medical Biophysics and Information Technologies of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, together with students of the “Technology of Pharmaceutical Production” educational program, actively participated in this socially significant event and contributed to the campaign.
During the campaign, students received information about the negative impact of drugs on human health, personal development, future prospects, and society. The importance of preventing drug-related crime was also explained. Young people were encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle, spend their free time productively, and recognize their responsibility to society.
Students’ participation in such socially significant activities not only increases their civic engagement but also strengthens their sense of responsibility for building a healthy, safe, and drug-free society.
“Shymkent — A Drug-Free City!” — a shared goal for a bright future for young people and a healthy generation!
