Today, students of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy listened to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the people of Kazakhstan, entitled “Current Challenges Facing Kazakhstan at a New Historical Stage.” This important document, which outlines the country’s key development priorities, places particular emphasis on modernizing infrastructure, expanding the construction of social facilities, and improving public well-being.
In his Address, the President proposed declaring 2027 the Year of Nationwide Large-Scale Construction. This initiative aims to develop infrastructure across all regions of the country, improve living conditions in populated areas, and create a more comfortable environment for citizens.
According to Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, construction and renovation of socially significant facilities must be intensified in regional capitals, districts, and local communities in the coming period. Particular priority will be given to the development of roads and airports, railway stations, healthcare institutions, as well as rehabilitation centres for children with special needs.
Furthermore, plans include the construction of creative centres, sports complexes, libraries, and scientific centres in all regions. The development of housing construction has also been identified as an important priority. These initiatives are expected to improve citizens’ quality of life, strengthen social infrastructure, and promote the sustainable development of the regions.
The President emphasized that improving public well-being is a strategic priority of the state. He also highlighted that all projects undertaken should benefit the country and, above all, contribute to the future of the younger generation.
It is worth noting that the development of medical infrastructure and improvements in the accessibility and quality of healthcare institutions are particularly important for students of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and healthcare professionals.
Implementing initiatives aimed at shaping the country’s future is a shared responsibility of every member of society. Preparing educated, highly qualified, and responsible young professionals is an important foundation for Kazakhstan’s sustainable development.
