The spiritual modernization and intellectual development of modern society are directly dependent on the content of the education system. In this context, one of the key directions highlighted at the 5th National Kurultai is the deep mastery by the younger generation of the teachings of Abai Kunanbayuly known as “Tolyk Adam” (“Holistic Person”).
Abai’s concept of the “Holistic Person” represents an integral philosophical system that defines the spiritual and moral foundations of human existence. The core principle of this teaching is the unity of mind, heart, and will. According to the poet, only through the harmonious integration of these three qualities can a person achieve true perfection. Therefore, incorporating this teaching into students’ consciousness contributes to their personal development and the formation of responsible, patriotic citizens.
In this regard, the Head of the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences,” PhD Dr. Zh.O. Nurzhanbayeva, emphasized to second-year students the strategic importance of developing medicine and the healthcare system, as well as artificial intelligence and digitalization, as outlined by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the fifth session of the National Kurultai.
The event was covered by the regional television channel “OŃTÚSTIK,” which presented its proceedings to the general public as part of a news program.
Purpose: to familiarize students with the initiatives put forward by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the fifth session of the National Kurultai concerning the development of medicine and healthcare, as well as the strategic importance of artificial intelligence and digitalization; to shape young people’s perspectives on contemporary social processes; and to enhance their civic responsibility, critical thinking skills, and professional orientation by explaining the priority directions of national development.
It was also emphasized that these directions have a direct impact on the country’s socio-economic development. It was noted that modernizing the healthcare system is a key factor in improving the quality of life of the population, while the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence and digitalization will help ensure the accessibility and efficiency of medical services. Students were informed about the significance of these initiatives for their professional growth as future specialists and for strengthening their responsibility to society.
During the meeting, students expressed their opinions and asked questions on the issues discussed. Such educational events contribute to a deeper understanding by young people of the priority directions of state policy and to the formation of conscious citizens who are adaptable to modern changes.
