
The South Kazakhstan Medical Academy is currently holding the “Law and Order” week. As part of the program, students were shown short films titled “Huliganka” and “Not Bookish Bookmarks,” produced by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized by the Academy’s Youth Policy Department. The meeting was attended by Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Affairs Division of the Al-Farabi District Police Department of Shymkent, Police Major Sattar Baiseitov, as well as Senior Operational Officer of the Drug Crime Control Department of the Shymkent Police Department, Police Major Yerdaulat Sadykov.
The Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs of the institution, Salim Erbol Kaltursynuly, called on young people to respect the law and take responsibility for their actions. He noted that future doctors bear great responsibility in raising awareness about the dangers of drugs in society and emphasized the importance of being diligent and responsible in their profession.

During the meeting, law enforcement representatives conducted explanatory talks with students on the prevention of offenses, compliance with legal requirements, and the importance of avoiding suspicious situations.
At the end of the event, students shared their impressions of the films, asked questions to law enforcement officers, and received detailed answers.
