Students Were Taught First Aid Skills

As part of the “Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle” section of the comprehensive educational plan of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy for the 2025–2026 academic year, a lecture on “Literacy – the Basis of Quality Medicine” was held for schoolchildren, focusing on the basics of first aid.
On September 29, 2025, interns of group I-ZhTDQ-01-24, under the guidance of group leader Ms. Nurmakhanova G.N., conducted a preventive, educational, and awareness-raising event at Secondary School-Lyceum No. 80 in Shymkent aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The purpose of the event was to teach students the skills of providing emergency aid. Group leader Ms. Nurmakhanova gave an opening speech, highlighting the relevance and importance of the event. She emphasized that in emergencies, every second is precious, and every individual has the opportunity to contribute to saving a life by providing timely assistance. She also urged students to listen attentively.
To spark greater interest, a special video clip was shown.
At the end of the event, a Q&A session was held as feedback. The students actively participated, shared their opinions on the topic, and answered questions. The most active participants were awarded special prizes.
Overall, such events are of great importance as they help students develop the ability to provide timely assistance in emergency situations.
