The 2nd International interdepartmental online school in neurology to be held

On February 24, 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00, the 2nd International Interdepartmental Online School in Neurology will be held at the main building of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy in cooperation with Astrakhan State Medical University. The event will bring together faculty members, practicing physicians, and medical students from universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. The online school will be accompanied by a live broadcast, enabling students, residents, and faculty members to participate in person.
The event will focus on discussing current issues in modern neurology, exchanging scientific and clinical experience, and fostering international academic cooperation between профиль departments.
The online school will be moderated by leading specialists in neurology — heads and professors of профиль departments — who will provide expert supervision of the scientific program and facilitate professional discussion.
The program will include topical issues such as molecular genetic studies of hereditary neurological disorders, особености of nervous system involvement in HIV infection, a clinical case of MELAS syndrome, as well as modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic polyneuropathy.
Special attention will be given to presentations by residents and trainees who will present clinical observations and research findings. The presentations will be followed by a discussion session, allowing participants to exchange professional experience and discuss the presented materials.
