
March 14 – Korisu Day, Amal Holiday. At the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the Department of General Practice 2 held a celebration of Korisu Day, dedicated to the Amal holiday, in order to promote national values and traditions.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department of General Practice 2 G.N. Dosybayeva, the department’s teachers, and medical interns from groups 612, 613, 614, 619, and 623. Participants greeted each other, asked about each other's well-being, and exchanged warm wishes. The importance of national traditions and the need to preserve and pass them on to the younger generation were emphasized.
Korisu Day is one of the long-standing traditions of the Kazakh people that has been passed down for centuries. On this day, people meet, greet one another, and wish each other well-being, symbolizing unity, friendship, and mutual respect. Such events help strengthen young people's appreciation for national culture and preserve the traditions of their ancestors.
