The Department of Pediatrics-2 hosted an event dedicated to the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 05, 2026, the Department" Pediatrics-2 " under the guidance of the head of the Department, Professor Bektenova Gulmira Erseitovna and the assistant of the Department Onlasbekova G. M. held an event dedicated to the day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Purpose: to promote the work of teachers working in the field of higher education, including in the training of medical professionals, to increase the status of teachers, to form students ' respect for the work of teachers, as well as to promote the important role of higher education workers in the professional training of future doctors.
During the event, an informative conversation was held between the teaching staff of the department and students about the importance of higher education, especially medical education, the professional activity of the teacher, the place of the teacher's work in the development of society and healthcare. Students expressed warm words to their teachers and exchanged views on the importance of their professional knowledge, experience and moral qualities in the formation of future doctors.
During the meeting, it was noted that the teacher is not only an educator, but also a mentor who guides the student, an important specialist who contributes to the formation of professional and personal qualities of the future doctor. The participants discussed the importance of continuous search, professional development and sharing of experience of the teaching staff in improving the quality of higher medical education.
At the end of the speech, the head of the Department, Professor Bektenova G. E. noted that the work of each employee in the field of Higher Education makes a great contribution to the quality of education of future doctors and the formation of qualified, responsible and professional specialists. In addition, the teacher noted that the assessment of his work, respect for his professional authority and the development of medical education and science are one of the most important tasks of society.
