"The Elderly Are Our Priceless Treasure"

As part of the charity event "Қарттарым – асыл қазынам" organized by the Department of Family Medicine at SKMA, the 09-26 intern doctors, together with their mentor, high-category physician Kumisay Atashova, paid a special visit to the home of home-front veteran Aysulu Ospanova to monitor and assess her health status.
Aysulu apa was born during the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War when the country faced severe hardships, and she bore the full weight of that era alongside the people on the home front. Having experienced hardships from a young age, she contributed to rebuilding the nation and dedicated her conscious life to serving the people.
During the visit, her overall health condition was assessed, and her complaints were heard. Previous laboratory and instrumental test results were reviewed, and necessary medical advice was provided. Treatment was prescribed according to her health status, and the rules for taking medications were explained.
For us, this meeting was not just about providing medical care, but an opportunity to show respect to esteemed individuals who worked for the country and to draw inspiration from their life journey.
Our elders are living witnesses of our history and a priceless treasure that serves as an example for generations to come. Their blessings and wisdom are a priceless legacy for the youth.
