The II International Online Olympiad in English "Language and Medicine"

The lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages at the NJSC "Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University" involved their students in the 2nd International Online Subject Olympiad in English, held among 1st and 2nd-year students from November 24 to November 29, 2025, and received certificates. The purpose of the international online olympiad is to determine the level of English language proficiency as a tool for intercultural communication, to motivate students to improve their language skills, and to develop a creative interest in learning English. The objectives of the olympiad are: to identify and support talented students, motivating them to further enhance their language competence; to increase the participants' interest in scientific, creative, and cognitive activities; to stimulate interest in creative and intellectual work; and to maintain connections between higher medical educational institutions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
Students achieved victory in the olympiad: among the contenders participating on behalf of the universities of our republic, many students won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, while the remaining students and supervisors were awarded certificates. We congratulate the participating students on their victory and wish them creative success!
