“The Legacy of the Older Generation — An Example for the Youth”

On October 29, 2026, O.A. Turebayev, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, and lecturer A.B. Turmatova organized an educational meeting titled “The Legacy of the Older Generation - An Example for the Youth.”
The purpose of the event was to present the honorable life journeys and rich experience of the older generation as an example for young people, strengthen continuity between generations, and foster respect for elders, integrity, and moral values among students.
The meeting was attended by first- and second-year students, as well as veteran educators who had worked for many years at the departments of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. Held under the guiding principle “The Path of Integrity Leads to Excellence,” the gathering provided an opportunity for the veteran educators to share memories from their careers and offer valuable reflections on the importance of education, honest work, professional responsibility, and humanity.
The students asked the veteran educators questions about life experience, career choices, professional development, and human values, receiving thoughtful and informative answers. Talented students performed songs and traditional Kazakh kui, creating a special spiritual atmosphere.
The meeting highlighted that the legacy and life experience of the older generation are a valuable source of guidance for young people and left the participants with warm and lasting impressions.
