"The Light of reason and humanity": a contest of artistic readings from the works of Kazakh poets and writers among representatives of different ethnic groups.

Senior lecturer of the department "History of Kazakhstan and socio-social disciplines" A. A. Bekkulova held an art reading contest on the works of Kazakh poets and writers in groups of the 1st year of the OP "Medicine", VM-MSHAB-06 - 25 of the far abroad.
The purpose of the competition is: increasing the interest of foreign students in Kazakh literature, deeper acquaintance with the works of Kazakh poets and writers and the development of their creative abilities. A. A. Bekkulova introduced foreign students to the works of great Kazakh poets and writers, introduced the values of national literature. Foreign students, having got acquainted with the great Kazakh poets and writers, plunged deeper into their work and better understood the peculiarities of Kazakh culture and literature. Namely: Abai Kunanbayev, Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev, Mukhtar Auyezov, Zhambyl Zhabayev, Saken Seifullin, Kassym Amanzholov, Mukagali Makatayev and others.

International students received new thoughts and feelings about the work of these poet-writers, not only from understanding the depth and national specifics of literature, but also from understanding the issues of morality, spirituality and patriotism in Kazakh culture. Currently, the need to promote Kazakh literature and culture in foreign countries is especially important, as it helps international students to immerse themselves more deeply into the rich history and culture of the Kazakh people.
This competition is an important and useful event aimed at revealing the depth of Kazakh literature, bringing foreign youth closer to national values.
