“The New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Reforms and Social Significance”

On October 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of JSC “South Kazakhstan Medical Academy” held an educational seminar for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the topic “The New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Reforms and Social Significance”. The seminar was led by Senior Lecturer T.Zh. Sabitov. The event was attended by the Head of the Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences Sh.A. Ashirov, Acting Professor, Candidate of Sociological Sciences M.A. Yertayev, and other faculty members.
The seminar discussed the significance of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the main directions of constitutional reforms, the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms, the rule of law, and the role of the Constitution in the development of society. Participants noted that the Constitution is not only the fundamental law of the state but also an important means of strengthening social stability, civic responsibility, and national unity.
The students exchanged views on the topic and asked questions of interest to them. The invited guests emphasized the importance of legal literacy, respect for the law, and an active civic position.
The educational purpose of the seminar was to foster students’ legal culture, increase their civic responsibility, and develop their interest in the social and political life of Kazakhstan.
