The Only Melody in My Eyes

On October 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the group BM-MKB 02-25, together with lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages, attended a theatrical musical performance titled "The Only Melody in My Eyes" ("Жанарымдағы жалғыз әуен") presented by the Youth Theater of Astana.  The performance centered on themes of nostalgia for childhood, life in the village, and longing for grandparents, among other heartfelt memories. The main purpose of the theater visit was spiritual and cultural development. While at the theater, the students enriched their inner world: the performance encouraged them to reflect on eternal values such as life, love, justice, honor, and dignity. Thanks to the actors’ sincere and emotional performances, the students experienced a wide range of emotions — joy, sorrow, love, hope, and fear. They immersed themselves in the atmosphere of live art, which creates a completely different impression compared to movies or books. For our students, this cultural experience fostered a sense of community, strengthened friendships, and served as an effective and meaningful way to spend their free time.
