"The Right to Protection and Compensation in Cases of Violence"

On October 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a meeting was held in Auditorium 422 of the fifth building with students from groups ВM-MOB-11-25 and ВM-MQB-04-25 and trainers from the Public Association “Sana Sezim” — R. Khudaishukurova and E. Enikeeva. The event was organized with the support of the Department of Foreign Languages and was dedicated to the topic: "Rights to Protection and Compensation in Cases of Sexual Exploitation and Violence." The main goal of the seminar-training was to inform students about the rights of victims of sexual and labor violence, as well as to expand their knowledge and practical skills in the field of human rights protection. Special attention was given to existing mechanisms for support, compensation, and legal assistance for victims. During the meeting, participants were introduced to national and international human rights standards related to sexual violence, human trafficking, and exploitation. The seminar provided an in-depth discussion on access to justice and the roles of various institutions — the police, social services, medical institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) — in assisting victims. The seminar included an interactive component: small group work allowed students not only to better understand the presented material but also to share the results of their mini-research on the discussed topics. Such events contribute to the development of legal culture among young people, increase awareness of rights and responsibilities, and play an important role in the prevention of violence and exploitation in society.
