To improve the educational and methodological work in the 2024–2025 academic year, an overview-type open lecture was conducted for students as part of the methodological direction

Within the framework of the Educational Program in Public Health, multilingual instruction is provided for 4th-year students.
On September 23, 2025, at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Management, an open lecture was delivered by PhD in Medicine, Acting Associate Professor Zh.U. Sadibekova for students of group B-KDk-01-22 on the topic: “Goals and Prerequisites for the Introduction of Compulsory Medical Insurance. Global Healthcare Models.”
An overview method of presenting the material was applied during the lecture, which allowed for the systematization of key concepts regarding the implementation of medical insurance, clarification of its main goals and prerequisites, as well as a review of international healthcare models.

The lecture covered the following key goals of implementing the Compulsory Social Medical Insurance (CSMI) system:
1. Improving the accessibility of medical care for all population groups.
2. Reducing the financial burden on the state budget.
3. Establishing shared responsibility between the state, employer, and citizen.
4. Promoting competition among healthcare providers (both public and private).
The students showed great interest in the topic, actively participated in discussions, asked clarifying questions, and demonstrated motivation to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
The lecture was conducted at a high methodological level, using visual materials, which contributed to better comprehension of the topic.
