On February 5, 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized a training on the topic “What Are Women’s Rights?” Students from group V-FQAB-02-25 participated. The training was conducted by Nurtatish Nurgabylkyzy Tanatar, a social work specialist at the Women’s Legal Initiative Center “SANA SEZIM.”
Women’s rights are the rights and freedoms granted and guaranteed to women and girls worldwide. They include the right to live equally with men, access education, work, participate in political life, and be protected from violence.
The purpose is to support women and children in building a civil society and democracy, guide them in life relationships, promote a society free from violence, and improve actions to protect the rights of women and children.
