“Won a prize place in the ‘Best Clinical Case’ nomination”

The rehabilitation specialists of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, and Rehabilitation of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy достойно represented SKMA at the 5th Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,” held on May 23, 2026, in Almaty.
We are especially proud to announce that first-year rehabilitation resident B.Z. Yesengeldiev, under the scientific supervision of MD/PhD Meyrgul Ysyrailkyzy Asylbek, actively participated in the conference and presented a clinical case that received high recognition from the professional community. Following the conference results, B.Z. Yesengeldiev was awarded a prize-winning place in the nomination “Best Clinical Case”.
We would also like to emphasize that this award has become another significant achievement for the department, which continues to develop successfully under the leadership of the Head of the Department — Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor Nazira Asanovna Zharkinbekova.
