Won prize-winning places at the 80th International Student Scientific and Practical Conference

On May 15–16, 2026, intern doctors of the Department of General Medical Practice-2 at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy participated in the 80th International Student Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy,” held at Samarkand State Medical University.

The conference brought together students and young researchers from Bashkir State Medical University, Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and 47 other higher educational institutions.

According to the conference results:

🥇🏆 Turgynov M. won first place for the presentation “Internet Addiction in Children.”

🥉🏆 Rezhep A.B. was awarded a third-degree diploma for the research work “The Effect of Energy Drinks on the Cardiovascular System.”
