Job Fair for Pharmacy Graduates Held at SKMA

On April 22, 2026, a job fair for graduates of the educational programs “Pharmacy” and “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” was held at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The main purpose of the event was to facilitate graduate employment, establish direct interaction with employers, and meet the staffing needs of the pharmaceutical sector.
Special representatives attended the event from the Shymkent Department of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Control Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of Legal Entities “South Kazakhstan ‘Damu’ Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Organizations,” Belasar Pharmacy LLP, the Shymkent branch of Medservice Plus LLP, and EcoPharm International LLP.
The event was opened with a welcome speech by the Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs, Professor Bekaidar Kaldybaevich Nurmashev. In his address, he emphasized the importance of supporting the employment of young specialists, their professional development, and ensuring that pharmaceutical organizations are staffed with qualified personnel.
As part of the event, a plenary session was held under the moderation of the Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs, Professor Nurmashev. During the session, he presented a report on the activities of the pharmaceutical cluster of South Kazakhstan, highlighting key development areas, collaboration with educational institutions, and prospects for workforce training in the sector.
Representatives of pharmaceutical companies, pharmacy chains, manufacturing enterprises, and distribution companies delivered presentations, providing information on job vacancies, working conditions, career development opportunities, and social support measures for young professionals.
During the plenary session, key issues such as workforce training, trends in the pharmaceutical market, employer expectations, and the development of professional competencies were discussed. In addition, graduates participated in preliminary interviews, submitted their resumes, and received employment offers. Individual consultation sessions were also organized, where participants received guidance on career planning and professional growth.
The event served as an effective platform for interaction between graduates and employers and contributed to the successful integration of young professionals into the labor market.
