Post-release about holding an open class with the participation of 6th year interns specialty "General Medicine"

On 16.10.2025, as part of the educational process, the Master of Medical Sciences of the Department of General Practitioner - 2, R.A. Smetova, conducted an open lesson for interns of the 6th year of the General Medicine specialty at the Academy's Practical Skills Center. The open lesson was devoted to one of the relevant topics: "Differential diagnostic algorithm of joint syndrome".

The open lesson was conducted using the interactive "Standardized Patient" method using the "Random Envelope" and "Brainstorming" elements. This format made it possible to activate the participation of interns, develop clinical thinking and teamwork skills.

During the clinical case, the interns demonstrated the ability to apply their theoretical knowledge in conditions as close as possible to real clinical practice. Using the practical skills of collecting anamnesis, physical examination and clinical thinking, the interns consistently showed the algorithm of admission of a patient with joint syndrome.

Of course, special attention was paid to assessing the local status of joints, as well as the sequence of diagnostic search, including substantiating the differential diagnosis and arguing for further management tactics for patients with joint syndrome.

This open lesson was attended by: head of the methodological department Rasheva Bakhyt Muratovna; head of the department of "GP-2", Doctor of Medicine, Professor Dosybayeva Gulzhan Nurbekovna; assistant of the department of "GP-2" Abdieva Bayan Muratovna.

The teachers present and a representative of the methodological department noted the practical orientation and methodological significance of the "Standardized patient" lesson.
In the final part of the open lesson, a discussion of the presented clinical case took place, during which the interns analyzed the key diagnostic stages and tactical decisions. Of course, special attention was paid to reflection and self-reflection, when the interns conducted a mutual assessment of the performances, noting the strengths and weaknesses of colleagues.

Conducting these classes using interactive teaching methods is an important step towards the professional development of interns and the formation of clinical competencies of future general practitioners. Such classes contribute to the improvement of the educational process, increase the motivation of interns and strengthen the practical orientation of the training of general practitioners.
