"Methods of Conducting Written Borderline Assessments with Interdisciplinary Integration within the Continuous Integrated Medical Education Program"

Department of Morphophysiology held an educational and methodological seminar on the topic: "Methods of Conducting Written Borderline Assessments with Interdisciplinary Integration within the Continuous Integrated Medical Education Program."
During the seminar, modern approaches to assessing students' knowledge and competencies were discussed in the context of integrated education, which ensures interdisciplinary connections between anatomy, physiology, histology, biochemistry, and the basics of radiological diagnostics and introduction to clinical practice.
The seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by the Head of the Department, B.D. Tanabayev.

4. A.E. Sabit — “Survey Results on Improving the Quality of the Educational Process”
In their presentations, the speakers emphasized the importance of early implementation of a clinically-oriented approach in the teaching of fundamental disciplines. Particular attention was paid to interdisciplinary integration as a key tool for developing sustainable professional competencies among students.
The seminar also showcased the experience of introducing integrated practical sessions that involve tasks developed based on both fundamental and clinical knowledge. Special focus was given to the organization of borderline assessments, which reflect the level of development of clinical thinking and professional skills in students.
Seminar participants shared experiences in creating interdisciplinary tasks and discussed criteria for objective and transparent assessment of learning outcomes.
The seminar became an important step in implementing the principles of continuous integrated medical education and improving the quality of training for future doctors.
