Rektorate

The Rectorate is a collegial operational and advisory body that ensures the resolution of current issues related to the educational, clinical, research, and administrative-economic activities of JSC “SKMA”.

The Rectorate includes the Rector, vice-rectors, and heads of structural subdivisions of JSC “SKMA”. The powers of the members of the Rectorate are automatically terminated upon their dismissal from office.

The composition of the Rectorate is approved by an order of the Rector of JSC “SKMA”.

The Rector of JSC “SKMA” serves as the Chair of the Rectorate and provides direct leadership of its activities.

The secretary of the Rectorate is responsible for organizing the preparation of meetings and agenda materials, as well as keeping and formalizing the minutes.

The main task of the Rectorate is to organize and coordinate the ongoing work related to the implementation of the Development Program of JSC “SKMA” and to ensure the main areas of activity, to conduct preliminary review of matters within the competence of the Rector and other corporate and collegial governing bodies of JSC “SKMA”, and to develop recommendations for them.


MAIN TASKS OF THE RECTORATE

The competences of the Rectorate include the following issues:

  1. Monitoring the implementation of the Development Program of JSC “SKMA”.

  2. Reviewing issues related to the implementation of current work plans by the structural subdivisions of JSC “SKMA”.

  3. Developing recommendations on priority directions for the development of JSC “SKMA” as a whole and its structural subdivisions.

  4. Organizing career guidance and student admissions.

  5. Reviewing current issues related to the organization of the educational process and its academic and methodological support.

  6. Reviewing issues related to the organization of clinical activities of JSC “SKMA”.

  7. Reviewing issues of operational management of academic activities of JSC “SKMA”.

  8. Reviewing current issues related to organizing the research activities of JSC “SKMA”, including students’ research work.

  9. Reviewing issues related to educational and developmental work at JSC “SKMA”.

  10. Reviewing current issues related to the organization of administrative and economic activities of JSC “SKMA”.

  11. Reviewing current issues of international cooperation.

  12. Developing decisions on other matters assigned to the competence of the Rectorate in accordance with the Charter.

  13. Reviewing nominations for honorary titles and other state and departmental awards for employees of JSC “SKMA” who have achieved outstanding results in teaching, research, and other fields of activity.
